In the world of education blogs, I find it interesting to note that in addition to the ubiquitous wordpress and blogger, there are other interesting possibilities.
The last one I tried is Kidblog , a blogging platform very simple, in which there is no aesthetic or hundreds of configuration possibilities, but which themselves are some key features and conditions when working with children: simplicity, privacy and control. So
- We can create individual blogs and blogs in the classroom and add to our students without email.
- We maintain the privacy and make the post can be seen only by class members and guests.
- Teachers can approve or reject the post and comments.
- No distractions and students can focus on content production.
Although the interface is only in English, seems like an environment to take into account in the educational world, especially in Children and Primary Education.
