Some comics that caught my attention and escape from my hobbies superheroes.
blind snakes. many ambitions and too many topics for the National Award 2009. PCHE.
Pluto. Or Urasawa devilish ability to add layers of mystery as the story progresses. A beautiful and groundbreaking version of Astroboy, exciting and hard. Only I bought a manga series this year, well good it is.
Chew. Or the cannibal mentalist. With very fresh and original ideas. The surprise of the year here and there.
Undead. course.
Zombillenium. Arthur de Pins is simply a teacher, the guy who best manages Quacomm graphics tablets. Talent has nothing to do with technique. And on top is funny and tells good.

The art of flying. The writer, Antonio Altarriba, does therapy in the form of comics. It takes a lot guts to speak well of his father and mother. And through the life of his father tells you the life of Spain. It is ultimately a story of the Civil War and Postwar, which stands as a comic and as a novel or movie would be one more. The art of flying benefits from its status as comic, a medium, Carlos Giménez apart, has not played so much the issue. Benefits from the novelty in the environment and benefits because it uses the resources of the medium with a lot of sense, something that I think is not unconnected with the artist, Kim. Typecast as the artist of the Facha Martínez, surprised by its dramatic record, but I remember a cartoon of 1982 in the Rambla magazine that featured an old man who lived alone in an attic which did not leave for any reason, and much of that spirit in The art of flying, just awarded the National Award this year.
