I think we all agree with what I heard a couple of years ago the script guru Robert McKee: "The best fiction today is being done on TV." The American, I might add. One of the secrets is the level of control they have writers on the final product, much higher than in a movie. The current level of prestige of the TV series that is explained in this format to suit The Pillars of the Earth or Game of Thrones, allowing faithful versions without the crush of time of a movie. Many think that would be the ideal means to adapt Watchmen .
addition to the surprisingly long-lived Smallville, the series also are inspiring comics, such as Human Target or anticipated The Walking Dead. Marvel has not yet been released in this area, but if we follow Jeph Loeb (beyond you if you do) his new position in the publishing involves the creation of television series. And my number one candidate is Daredevil.
The idea came to me watching the second season of Sons of Anarchy (ranging from biker gangs with a plot to Hamlet ) and how the writers managed to throw went deeper and deeper depths to the characters, what's hot. And I think that gap has more character Daredevil. Not even Spiderman. Daredevil.
Daredevil has a really interesting cast of characters and broad, and would not face excesivamene roll. The main stage would be the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, and it would take only a few good specialists in martial arts and acrobatics. Joe Quesada on Twitter said recently that Daredevil would have to move as parkour specialists. As these children make the video, but the roof.
Or like the great opening scene of Casino Royale . Know if the comment had Quesada was fortuitous or background, but hits the mark.
But the main thing is that Daredevil has cast and action. The important thing is to have arguments and drama for several seasons. And Demosthenes, allow bloggers to emulate some friends, who tell what they would do if they were Editor at Marvel or DC, telling you what I would do if the Executive Producer in a hypothetical series of Daredevil . Hey, that as more executive producers of TV comics Publishers, mine has more likely to succeed. XD.
Theirs would be the seasons have all 12 chapters of rigor in the series of Showtime or HBO. That said, the first season would be inspired in the early days of Miller's character, the whole issue of origins, Elektra, Kingpin, Bullseye, Hand, Stick ... Black Widow also appear sporadically in all seasons. One of the subplots would fall into the hell of Karen Page, who would start for his chief romantic interest and Murdock, to be abandoned, would go into a spiral of drugs. Elektra die, apparently, in the end. And Foggy comical counterpoint would be the confessor-counselor of his friend. In short, nothing that is not already invented. What I wanted to do in the film by Ben Affleck. But well.
The Murdock and Daredevil star would appear only in specific cases, the style of Dexter, who only dons the uniform of every chapter psichokiller case.
The second season would have to be Born Again . Revenge of Kingpin, the fall of Murdock, his redemption and Karen Page, ... And have a happy ending, yes, that occasionally sticks.
Although I love Nocenti stage, I do not see it as material for the series, but has characters such as children of Hell's Kitchen (Darla, Bola Eight ,...) that would be a very interesting contributions. It would also be interesting to have as a side with Luke Cage or Iron Fist, and even with occasional appearances by other heroes of the house, but not to the level of abuse Smallville. Total
that the third season could be the Diablo Guardian, the Kevin Smith to Quesada, but with many revisions and additions. Bullseye again, of course, and, well, poor Karen Page, is what you get ...
And in the fourth and perhaps fifth stage might get Bendis: the unmasking of the hero, a new confrontation with the Kingpin, his legal troubles, his new position as "king" of Hell's Kitchen, its relationship with Milla ... To go to jail, end of season piece.
The sixth it's up to the excellent stage Brubaker, with Murdock in prison (only a couple of chapters, not to tire), the new Daredevil substitute around Kingpin, the Hand, and everything else. And end up, again great cliffhanger, with Daredevil escape the world and accepting the headship of the hand in an attempt to stop the organization from within.
futile attempts like on the seventh season, which collect and Diggle stage, in which Murdock had been attracted to the dark side, a logical position for someone who has spent as much as this character, and memory at the end of the eighth season 24, and that Bauer left the pot.
would be the time to finish the series and make a nice box with the six or seven seasons to find in video stores, department stores and other businesses in the sector.
me so I imagine. And I think that Constantine could have its own series. Does anyone dare? Only one condition must be set in London, missing more.
